About the Journal, Aims and Scope

Acta Clinica Croatica (Acta Clin Croat, ISSN 0353-9466 for print; ISSN 1333-9451 for online) is an internationally peer-reviewed general medical journal committed to the advancement of biomedical sciences and clinical practice. Since its inception in 1962, the journal has been continuously published, serving as a platform for the dissemination of scientific knowledge and professional experience within the medical community.

The journal is open to contributions from physicians, researchers, and scientists across the full spectrum of biomedicine. It publishes a wide array of article types, including original scientific papers, professional articles, case reports, review articles, and letters to the editor.

Recently, the journal successfully migrated to a new official website at actaclinica.org, where the current 2025 issues are now published. All archives up to the year 2024 remain fully accessible on the new platform, ensuring seamless continuity of access. This migration project, which updated the journal’s online presence and digital infrastructure, has now been completed.

Aims:
Acta Clinica Croatica aims to:

Publication and Editorial Process:
Published quarterly, with occasional thematic supplements, the journal maintains a rigorous peer-review process conducted by an international Editorial Board composed of distinguished Croatian and global experts. Articles are published in English, ensuring accessibility to an international readership.

Acta Clinica Croatica is indexed in major international bibliographic databases, reflecting its scientific impact and visibility. These include:

  • Hrčak (Croatian Open Access Scientific Journals portal)

Notably, in all indexing databases like WOS, Pubmed and Scopus the journal’s website URL was historically linked to the Hrčak portal and its old URL, we have requested to include the new migrated journal link, and this update is currently under process. The journal’s presence in these key databases ensures broad international accessibility and recognition.
